The 2017/18 School Council had a special visitor to their meeting this week. After choosing the Isle of Man Foodbank as their chosen charity this Christmas, the School Council invited Neal Mellon from the Isle of Man Foodbank to their meeting to find out more. He spent some time explaining how they try to help people who do not have enough money to buy food. In addition to the food, Neal also told the children how they sometimes have to teach people to cook and help them get the correct equipment to make meals.
In the next few weeks the School Council will be launching their Foodbank collection with an assembly and a letter home.
