Congratulations to the 2018 Cronk y Berry Public Speaking team for their wonderful performance in the annual Rotary competition. After several rounds of competition, the chosen speakers were Eve, Darcey and Stella. Eve's speech about her 'vampire brother' made both children and staff laugh and wonder about the comparisons. The team was chaired by Darcey, who commanded the stage and audience with confidence and clarity. On the night, vote of thanks proposer Stella received a special award for her performance which wowed the judges. The overall competition was won by St. John's school following their entertaining speech entitled If I were an animal, I would be a cockroach!
