We are delighted to share the fantastic news that our Reception and Key Stage 1 choir has won a prestigious Manx competition! Their outstanding performance, filled with enthusiasm and joy, truly captured the hearts of the judges and audience alike at the annual Manx Folk Awards.

The young singers performed a Manx song, in gaelic, showcasing their enthusiasm and love of singing. With smiles beaming from their faces, they delivered each note with confidence and charm.

The competition was a wonderful opportunity for our children to celebrate the rich heritage of the Isle of Man through song. Their hard work, guided by Miss Leach, paid off as they impressed everyone with their beautiful singing. In the morning competition they came third with their performance of Ellan Vannin and the Laxey Wheel.

A huge congratulations to all the children who took part! We are incredibly proud of their achievement and the joy they brought to the event. A special thank you also goes to Miss Leach and supportive parents who helped make this success possible.

Well done, Reception and Key Stage 1 choir – you have made our school proud!
