What can we say about today’s Millennium tournament and our incredible Conk y Berry Team? One word - PROUD! What an incredible asset to our school these children are. Fantastic teamwork, manners, attitude and spirit, and exemplary behaviour. Encouraging each other, even when results didn’t go the way we were hoping. As the morning went on, their confidence grew in leaps and bounds with some incredible football being played and fantastic shots and saves. We started off the morning a bit nervous, but by the end, we could’ve taken on anyone! Having the named played of the match 6 out of 7 times on our team speaks absolute volumes about their attitude and effort. Well done to our terrific 10. You have done yourselves proud, parents proud and our whole school proud. Although we didn’t make it to the knock out stages (joint 3rd on points, 4th with GD) you did a wonderful job. Well done and thank you for being such fantastic representatives for our school. A special thank you to Miss Shaw and Mrs Birchall for their time preparing the team for today.
