Year 6 have been learning about how creatures adapt to survive in their environment. On Thursday 26th October Dawn Dickens, Education Officer from the Manx Wildlife Trust, came to visit us and brought some amazing Manx sea creatures for us to look at. Some of us were brave enough to touch a sea anemone and we learnt about the brilliant adaptations that anemones and limpets have which help them to survive. We also had to design a bird based on the environment it lives in. We’d all like to thank Dawn for her enthusiasm and making the session so much fun!
