On Tuesday Reception had an amazing day out of school visiting Knockaloe Beg Farm. Last term Reception learnt all about farming and farm animals. The Children had a great time seeing a farm in action and learning lots of things from Farmer Jen and Farmer Soph. First they met some pigs and piglets before visiting some sheep and lambs in the fields. In the barn the children got to give the lambs a stroke. The last job of the day was to collect the eggs from the hen house, where they found 43! A great day was had by all.
