Year 1 have had a fabulous day out. We enjoyed a Snaefell Mountain Railway trip to the top of the Isle of Man only to find we had left the nice weather in Laxey so we had to imagine the views! Once back down in the sunshine we enjoyed our picnic lunch beside Laxey River before walking to visit Laxey Wheel. Some of us climbed to the top of the wheel to see what a 'birds eye view' of Laxey was like. We also went into the mine to see what it was like for the miners.
It was a fabulous day where the children represented the school brilliantly. Thank you to the adult helpers - your help is very much appreciated.
