Titanic Day 2019

Published Tuesday 2 July 2019

Year 5 were transported back to 1912 to taste what life on board R.M.S Titanic was like. Throughout the day the children tried activities including:

*news reporters on the day of the launch

*mapping the Titanic's route

*learning morse code

*debating who would get the last seat in the lifeboat

*writing a letter home

*drawing the view from a porthole

*playing deck games: quoits and shuffleboard.

They all had a real passenger to come as for the day and were split into First, Second and Third Class, particularly for their dining!
