Three Bears’ Porridge
In our topic, “Once Upon a Time,” Reception have been learning about lots of traditional stories. We have been looking at features of stories such as the characters and settings. We’ve enjoyed using Talk For Writing to help us learn part of a text off by heart, using actions and a story map to help us remember the words. We’ve even written our own stories, using our phonic knowledge to help us write down our words and sentences, one sound at a time. As a part of our "Goldilocks and the Three Bears” week, we loved making some delicious porridge to taste, and added healthy toppings such as banana, blueberries and honey. Who’s been eating my porridge? Reception have!!!
