Year 6 showcased their gadgets today in the 2022 Gadget Convention. The children made so many useful gadgets including house, sport and children's robots, a sea cleaning device, a pen, chair, pet robot, time travelling watches, hoverboards, jetpacks, super vision glasses, solar driven go karts and space explorers. They have been working hard on making a device, building a website, writing persuasive adverts, designing a display board and preparing speeches. They used so many of the Secrets to Success skills: imagine, improve, work hard, don't give up, try new things and understand others! They spoke to all of the visitors with confidence and pride. Thank you to Year 5 for being their practise run yesterday - perhaps they also got ideas for next year! Thank you to the families and school Governors who supported us today and for visiting all of the groups - it was very much appreciated.
