There was a familiar sound and set up to the Bethlehem Bake Off with the music, judges and contestant challenges we are used to on the TV show. However, it’s the night before Christmas, and Bethlehem is holding its annual baking competition. This year, though, there are a few surprise contestants: some shepherds from the local fields, a choir of angels from the heavens, and three wise-looking chaps who arrived on camels. As the competition progresses, we learn what brought them all to Bethlehem: a very special baby is to be born in a nearby stable, and they are here for a slice of the action.
