Superb performances from the children this morning at the 125th Manx Music Festival earned the children first place and a distinction (88 marks) in the Mixed choir (up to Y2) class. The children remembered everything they had been taught and their singing captured the audience from start to finish and the adjudicator, Bryan Husband, was full of praise for both songs, 'Count your Blessings' and 'Oh, what a wonderful scene'.
Here are some of his comments:- "The parts were clear and independent and well balanced. You were all very engaged and energised." "Your tone was clear and strong, the words and their meaning, were also clear."
Congratulations to Mrs Garrett and Mrs McDowell for all their hard work and well done to all the children for their wonderful commitment and fantastic energy!
