The pupils in Years 3,4,5 and 6 receive two terms of swimming lessons. The thirty minute lessons take place at the NSC. The children are assessed by the leading swimming teacher and grouped accordingly. They then learn the skills required to pass the stage they are on.
We use a bus to travel there, and require parent helpers to accompany us, as well as take a small group for swimming.
Pupils require the appropriate kit:
swimming costume/trucks (nothing baggy/shorts/two piece costumes)
goggles
towel
hat for any pupil with long hair
All earring need to be removed (new piercings must be covered up with a special band to be supplied by parents.)
